Something Is Forming

Another wind blows through the time I spend with you

I save each second in my mind

I remember the intensity of every little thing we see

Rings around moonstone wine

And yours eyes for an instant

See the sun in the distance

As it sparkles on the blue horizon

And I think of all the skies that have drifted on by

Over you and I

Recite it all back to me at the end of the story

And we'll see if we know what we mean

Paradox nights that circle on back again

You know you found your way home

The light of your breath and the moonlit whispers

Embraces tender and warm

Staring at the stars we wonder how far

The future is together's fortune

And I think if all the skies that are drifting on by

Over you and I

Recite it all back to me at the end of the story

And we'll see if we know what we mean

Something is forming on the edge of the universe

Out of previous passages of time

Blink goes the eye and a moment slips by

A candle burning in the fire

And a rain soaked wind starts to blow right in

And the clouds glide though my window

And I think of the skies that may never drift by

Over you and I

Recite it all back to me at the end of the story

And we'll see if we know what we mean
